AMBIGUITY

The world is rarely black and white, it is complicated, unstable, full of misconceptions and exterior forces moulding our perceptions. These perceptions influence our interpretation. If an object is perceived negatively can it be beautiful? Is an ethereal, ephemeral image of a controversial, repugnant material stronger because of the contrast? Through photographs of plastic bags, Ambiguity series, explores themes of contrast and ambiguity in contemporary society.
