    The way I have presented this image is to demonstrate the way in which we, as humans, interact with the environment and the nature of globalisation and cultural homogenisation. To me, it represents an interesting commentary on the concept of human progress. It was awarded a Gold Distinction at the recent AIPP APPA awards.

    The abstract nature of aerial photography leads to different readings and interpretations, there is an ambiguity that is present that is different depending on how you view the image. I imagine Picasso's soul directing the wind and sculpting the sand dunes into abstract portraits.

    Jama Masjid Mosque III is a travel fine art photography print inspired by my travels and photography experiences in Old Delhi, India. I have visited this mosque many times now on my numerous trips to India, I find it peaceful and beautiful and on each visit a new and different photographic opportunity presents itself. Here the pigeons are disturbed and fly into the air against the backdrop of the turrets and columns.
